After a traumatic hospital birth experience in 2016 that left my son injured, and myself wheelchair-bound and confined to my home for 6 months, I decided to go with a birth center and I needed to hire a Doula this time around. From our 1st conversation, I knew I wanted Emily to be my Doula. She had a sweet and calming presence, and I knew she would be a great advocate in case things went awry this time. When she came over for our initial meeting, it was like an old friend just dropping by to talk. I was overdue for the very first time and did the majority of my laboring at home, so when I arrived at the Birth Center, I was already at 10cm! Emily swiftly & calmly strode in and helped me laugh through the roughest part of labor and ½ water birth, ½ floor delivery. 

   Emily is incredibly personable, funny, is experienced with labor and birth and my family loves her too. She prayed with me during our meetings, before and after my delivery, she was truly an answer to my prayers. If you are looking for a servant-hearted Doula who is focused solely on your needs, then look no further, Emily is your girl!
