Emily is not just a great doula, she is the most supportive friend and companion you could possibly have next to you during labor and delivery. Emily is full of great advice and suggestions and is completely non judgmental if you choose to not take her suggestions. I highly recommend Emily for her doula services. I’m a first time mother and when I found out I was pregnant I knew I wanted a doula to help me through an unmedicated birth. I wanted someone that would support me as well as my husband. I wanted someone who had been through this before and would be able to coach and support us. Emily was all that and more.

I was already a few months pregnant when I started looking for a doula. This was my first pregnancy and I knew I wanted someone who was kind, patient, preferably a Christian and someone I felt comfortable with right off the bat. So before meeting Emily I was nervous. We had a phone interview first and I really liked her. Our next meeting was in person at Starbucks with my husband and after that meeting I felt so at ease and glad to know she would be by my the whole time! Not only helping me but also helping my husband feel confident too!

After a traumatic hospital birth experience in 2016 that left my son injured, and myself wheelchair-bound and confined to my home for 6 months, I decided to go with a birth center and I needed to hire a Doula this time around. From our 1st conversation, I knew I wanted Emily to be my Doula. She had a sweet and calming presence, and I knew she would be a great advocate in case things went awry this time.
